This Halloween Canyon carved is own pumpkin (in the photo his is in the middle) and dressed a Spiderman. Trek was a dragon (frequently confused as a Dino) and loved dressing up and wasn't quite as scared as last year with the scary masks. They both love their candy and have impressed me with their willingness to share. AND AFTER THE CANDY:

Laguna Beach

The boys and I went to Laguna Beach with my Dad. Canyon loved the ocean and couldn't stay out of the cool water. Trek, however was intimdated by it's power and parked himself as far away in the sand.

Chasing the SUNSET

Canyon, Trek, and I drove to the top of Snowbowl last night to watch the sun set. We often miss the sunsets, because our sweet little house is surrounded by pine trees. Not being able to stand missing another breathtaking ARIZONA sunset we loaded up and drove 20 minutes to watch the sky turn every shade of orange and pink and blue and purple. It was amazing (and so are my boys)!

Vegas with the HUBBY!

Gary & I went to Vegas for the weekend, just the two of US!! We went to a show, shopped, had dinner with friends, slept in, relaxed by the pool, got room service and savored every minute. It was lovely to have time to ourselves...

A is for acorn...

... and apple and alligator and Arizona and airplane, and Johnny Appleseed. Canyon had preschool today at our house with 2 friends. Next week he goes to their house. He hasn't talked about anything else today. I think he liked it (and so did I!).
