...it's beautiful, it's dry, it's mysterious, it's full of color, it's big blue sky makes me know I'm home.

Adventure Day: Slide Rock

School was closed for Canyon and Gary was in between graduation and work so we decided to hit slide rock on a weekday before it gets too packed. What fun! Water and Sunshine: you can't ask for a better afternoon.

 

 

Gary Graduates!

Oh, Happy Day!

He set a goal and reached it. 

The last 3 years Gary has worked so hard and I couldn't be happier and more proud.

Our family set out on an adventure a few years ago and have been blessed every step of the way. We worked together, supported each other and enjoyed the ride. Never once did it feel wrong.

Congratulations to my sweetheart. I love you so much!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Color Vibe

Last Saturday I spent a fun day with some girlfriends on the Color Vibe 5k "run." We walked and visited most of the way enjoying periodic bursts of color. Love good friends and warm Saturday's. After we finished our run we had a mini redo for the kids. It made for some cool photos, but the little ones weren't sure of having color blasted at them.

Potion

Oh, Trek how you melt my heart daily and make me smile:

Literally after an conversation with my sister about how my boys haven't really cut there hair themselves. Trek walking into the living room with a cup full of hair.

"Trek!" I say.
"I'm making a potion and I need a lock of hair" Trek says.
(How can you get angry at that explanation/justification.)

As I continue to investigate this magical potion that "turns people into bears," I find that it also includes a truffula tree, toothpaste, water, a piece of bark and a gumball.

But most importantly a lock of hair.

 

Earthday Shirts

The boys and I made Earth Day shirts to wear on their Earth Day celebrations at school. Canyon brought home a lot of wonderful ideas on how we can show a little LOVE to Mother Earth.
