Deer Farm & Bearizona

On Saturday we headed to Williams, Arizona where we enjoyed our day surrounded by animals. Our first stop with The Grand Canyon Deer Farm where there are tons of deer to feed, camels, bison, reindeer, wallabies, coatimundi, marmosets, talking birds, miniature horses, and donkeys. Both boys loved the animals and the perfect weather.

Canyon feeding a deer.

Trek trying to feed the deer. He was a little short and not strong enough to hold a cup so he would grab 1 piece of corn and wait for the deer to figure out that he had a tiny bit of feed.

Gary got stuck with all the feed cups so the deer were constantly surrounding him to get more.

Checking out the birds.

Me & the boys. We bought Canyon and disposable camera. I think he was as impressed with this as he was with the deer.

Trekker getting some wet kisses.

After we enjoyed the animals Gary bought the boys some toy rifles. Canyon is now obsessed and carries his rifle everywhere.

Then we headed over to Bearizona, a drive through wild life reserve with bison, bear, big horn sheep, and some baby bear, fox, wolf and bobcat.

This is Coco, a baby black bear.

Lately, after we put the kids to bed, Gary heads in to the office to do homework. I lay on the futon keeping him entertained and photographing his cuteness. Then I eventually fall asleep as he completes his assignments.

Yesterday's Bike Ride

My precious Trekker in "his" helmet.

Canyon got a new bike about 3 weeks ago. Almost immediately he started attempting these "cool trips." (I am terrified).

A Satuday at Evening Star

Canyon, Trek & I spent some time walking around the land on Saturday while my mom did some school prep. We walked slow and savored the beautiful weather. We made sure to stop by a few of my favorite spots (The Big Tree & The Pool).

Canyon giving some Y to The Big Tree--Growing up we spent many, many, many hours here.

A little friend we found on our walk.

Canyon just discovered Honeysuckles. We stopped frequently to suck it's sweet nectar.

Trek peeking through the fort window.

Trek laughing through the fort window.

Sitting on the edge of the abandoned pool. We also spent many hours here in the summer-time.

And the skeleton of the "Old House" where Skye, Paho & I were all born.
